Today's mail contained our tube of BNI stuff -- the poster, sew-on patch, sticker, SpeedWeek pin, and so on. Were we the first to get the tube -- or have all of you been holding out on mentioning the good news?
Now it's way more easy to believe it when I say "See you on the Salt!"
My dog has been playing with the empty tube for a couple of days now...

This may be true FV, but mail delivered on horseback always takes longer to arrive.

Tick tock.......
Hotnuts--The Horse came to me today.Probably can`t figure out how to cross the River.... :-D
TU BE or not TU BE! :?
It BE - tube arrived yesterday!
Darn the suspense is killing me.
Mine came by UPS. The postals couldn't deliver it.
It had 4 , 187 ml, bottles of Korbel champagne in it and USPS can't deliver booze.
Thanks JoAnne. Now we are even.

Hey Jonnie Hotnuts, if a tube arrives at your house and it has a wick on one end don't light it, it's not a candle.

That makes two of us
Another dissapointment
So here we are, talking about the arrival of the tubes -- but nobody has mentioned the artwork of the poster this year. Nancy and I had an inkling of what was coming up -- but it sure is good to see in person, for real, on the poster. What do you folks think about the historical version of the Bonneville poster?
I will tell you as soon as I see it!! :?
Fred, I could take a photo of one of the two of 'em that have made it to 509 Dukes Road, Skandia, Michigan. Would that help settle your anxiety?
My wife says I am a worrier, so I guess I am happy to have something that is totally out of my control to worry about!
Fred?, Fred?, who is this Fred person?
DW
Nothing here yet but I paid late so I figure I am at the back of the list.
2 tubes today .
Nice job on the posters.
Don
I have most of those posters.
My tube of goodies arrived yesterday!
Regards, Neil Tucson, AZ
Glen, I got my tube a few days ago; there was a hand written note inside inside from all of the scta directors thanking me for being so awesome and amazing. What a nice gesture and thanks all, I know!
~JH
I was surprised to see two of the posters that I provided the fotos.
The Jerry Jones image was exciting to do and Sharon Vickery may
have been one of the first ladies featured on a poster. Those
were over 35 years ago.

Got mine today...Thanks SCTA BNI!
Got mine today, great poster.
I will not be getting tubed this year. I am hopeful that the monza will be there. Lots left I better get out there and keep moving forward.

Okay - NOW it's here . . .

I know the mail is being delivered in Yuma as I bills everyday but NO TUBE YET? ???
Got my rulebook the day after my tube arrived.
My tube made it Monday
It's Monday afternoon down here in New Zealand, we fly out on Thursday...............tubeless to date, but this has happened before, usually obvious we're serious with a car in tow and easily sorted.
SEE YOU"LL SOON.
Chris Harris.........NZed.
I'll see you on the Salt.
You are invited to come to Treit's pit for a tour.

Does one have to be BNI member to get Tubed?
I was expecting to see at least a confirmation from the Speedweek entry.
John
Finely got it.
Rained all day yesterday SB
Just FYI,
Everyone who joined BNI before May 29th, was sent their tubes via bulk mailed on June 13. Bulk mail is cheaper, but takes a few weeks. If you joined later, then the tube was sent out via first class mail somewhere in the time slot July 10 - 18. International tubes are also mailed first class and have to be individually customs declared. Some international members choose to have JoAnn hold their tubes and pick them up at SW from the BNI trailer. Rulebooks unfortunately have to be sent separately. They just don't fit in the tubes, with the poster (that is if you want both items to arrive in a good state).
SW confirmations were getting processed and yes, you should get confirmation.
Please.. if you are concerned, contact JoAnn at the SCTA office and she will be more than happy to let you know what is going on.
Miriam
I've been in touch with JoAnn who is keeping my international membership at the BNI trailer for me to collect. Also been in touch with Lynda as this means I won't have my pin for when I arrive at the salt. If all goes to plan we should arrive about 4pm on Saturday, have a mooch, collect the passes and BNI membership then head for the Nugget for the hot rods in the evening.
So, uh, one week until I'm on the road, and still no tube.
I've got my entry approval in front of me and have been checking the P.O. regularly.
Also, a teammate of mine hasn't seen his yet.
Any information? Please advise?

The every scarce tube has not made it to
Yuma either. And no we are not on the Pony Express Route here!
I spoke to Joann this week and everything had been mailed. Since I am not a BNI member, was not aware, I am not being shipped the Tube.
J
My tube just arrived 8/27 seems like it might be a good practice to mail them earlier! !
