Title: Salt Talks 2024
Post by: Seldom Seen Slim on June 03, 2024, 08:05:53 PM
Anybody interested in having the event?  If so - are you interested enough to do lots of the grunt work?  I can't run it by myself but will welcome the chance to have the event again.  Lemme know, please?  It'd be Sunday, 4 August.

I'm interested, Jon, and would consider it an honor to help.  I'll be staying at a motel in Wells for a few nights, starting on the night of Friday, 8/2.  I have a small pickup truck  -- and am a spectator, not a racer.

Cheers, and thank you for the event.

Best regards,

Okey-donkey.  I've started a list of chores/work/needs and will get in touch with youse guys to let you see what's involved - - to give you a chance to scream Heck, NO! and run away.

It's all Jon Amo's fault, by the way.  Early on we noticed him scrambling through the pits trying to find grills, etc, to borrow for Salt Talks about 20 years ago.  Nancy said "He needs a help setting this up" and, well, here we are today.  Lotsa stuff to do in advance makes for a fun. party.

I'll be in touch in a coupla days.  In the meantime - anybody else?
