Title: Alignment - New Build
Post by: 71GSSDemon on August 13, 2026, 03:03:33 AM
Well, I am finally in the last stages to finish the Charger for WOS.  I need an alignment done.  Where do we start?

Tube chassis but has a 2006 Ford Crown Vic from K member suspension.  I am guessing around 1/16-1/8 toe in but camber and caster.  I believe about as much caster as possible - Panther suspension doesn't give much caster adjustment.  Do you trade Camber for more caster or vice versa?  Where do I begin?

Note:  I was told to just run my wide street tires for this rookie year, so they are 18" Shelby GT500 wheels all around - so much wider than ideal, not sure if that plays into a recipe or not.

Start with caster and camber at stock values... make sure your tires fit the 150 rules

ok thank you.  I will be running in Time Only this trip.  Tires are ZR rated, so good to 200 - far beyond what this turd will do.

The alignment was set at 1/16" toe in, 0° camber and 7° caster.  Car felt very good at 80+ on a paved road.

That'll work M8! My turd's longer than your turd, :aktion086:  see you in turdsville.
