Hmm, since it was my post... maybe I should contribute too...
Well I did get some tools for the shop.

Some Garage Art.... Nice Rat Rod metal sign and a Life Begins at 200MPH Road Sign.
A few parts too.
Battery Box, Trunk Mount battery terminal and cable kit, battery disconnect switch, HPG-1 Fuel Filter assembly, duel spring throttle return assembly, 25ft of Fuel Line and various fittings,
Just enough to keep me in the shop all week,,,,

Told my wife I wanted a 14" chop saw, & she said what the he!! is that, go buy one, put it under the tree, and I will put on a bow. Problem is, she wouldn't let me use it until after Christmas.
JW,, most stores or online stores have a "wish list" deal..
you pick out several items and email the wish list to your wife,,, then she can buy you stuff you actually want and will use... That is how I do it,,, last year I got a Quick Fuel 850 Carb, a bench grinder....
With the wish list the "non automotive" purchasers can get you parts or tools that you pre select.
I use Northern Tool, Harbor Freight, Sears/Craftsman, Jegs, Summit, etc,,, and for more specific parts I email her the exact part number, the phone number , the price and who to talk to for places that don't have wish lists... like CV Products and other performance parts distributors etc..

What I didn't get was a new manifold or new heads :-(
I got tires and a nifty wagon to haul my gear to tech inspection then it folds up out of the way. :-D
Eric,, those are items that you will use. Cool.
See you in April.

Book "Throttle - 1941 The Complete Collection", to keep the proper perspective on how much "new" is really "old".
Several gift cards to B&N to help quench my never ending thirst for tech & reference books.
Agree with runt, best of all the hugs from bride, children, and grand children, priceless!
Ed
My 21 year old gave me a sears gift card which will go towards a new inch lb torque wrench. I bought myself a set of cams with money from relatives. My wife gave me a new chef's knife for Christmas - REALLY Nice knife.

Probably more of a distraction than a help, but Kate got me a copy of Upton Sinclair's, "The Flivver King", a short novel based on the life of Henry Ford and the rise of FoMoCo, with perspectives of a worker and unionizing attempts. Vintage yellow journalism - or perhaps not - I've still got to read it.
:? And I got a damned bathrobe! Crow.
I got a set of Snap On screwdrivers, Dewalt drill/tool kit, and I bought myself a copy of Four Stroke Performance Tuning by A Graham Bell.
Fred
:-D
Multiple pairs of garage gloves, a Harbor Freight wire wrap tool and a nice metal cabinet for the garage.....
It's cold in the garage this week so haven't been able to work on the bike, maybe I should have asked for a heater!!
Happy New Year!!!!
Buzz
Kids donated a sizable amount of money in my name to several worthwhile charities in lieu of gifts. Mrs Littleliner got me a nice leather coat.
So I bought myself a set of throttle cables, an extra airbox, kill switch, start switch, ignition switch, an SCTA membership (to mail out this week) and a roller/dollie to move the engine around.
I got a rock...........................
Really I got a bead roller with a 18" deep throat. Way cool! 8-)
racepack dach board :-D
DeWalt 3/8" right angle drill and a Summit gift card. She knows that it has to have something to do with BV or I do not have much intrest. I am a lucky guy.
When I got back home I found that Santa had been here- :-D--there was a JD tubing bender with a 2" die :-) now just have to build a stand and find a place to mount it :?
Well, I asked Santa for a 40 x 60 shop, I got socks and underwear.... maybe next year
Stainless -- now it's going to be tough for you -- especially with your name -- you've got to try to keep your new underwear as clean as some of the shops we've seen. And with the name "Stainless" -- dang, you're in for a rough year, I can tell. Just remember that the skidmarks go in the back, on the inside -- 'least until next week.
Now that we have successfully hijacked this thread I would not have figured you for a whitey tighty guy Jon.... I figured Nancy would have you in dark colors, so she didn't have to see stripes... :-D
Merry New Year y'all
good for you JR, what are you doing with the old gauges? thats right, you just had a speedo in the roadster that only went to 250 :-o
SS way to small--- ask at least for a 60x120 you might get that 40 x 60 :-D
"18" deep throat" -- Wow!
:-D That's funny ROFL!!!!
I heard Stan did not need that much depth !!!!
He is a short wheelbase roadster guy !!!!
All in fun Stan ....

Guess what I got......a little glass container with a kidney stone in it........and a large doctor bill.............
Not a good 2009 Dec.........but better now........back in the shop working, getting the sidecar ready for the 2010 BUB.......do some "bronze Welding" (brazing Willie) on a couple of Cheney and Norton frames....
and getting ready for the BIG New Years Eve bash...........Happy New Year to all.................................
I got a 1951 Ford Flat Head.... 6 cylinder engine. 226 cu. It even turns over, and has a 15 volt alternator installed. Don't know what to do with it, but it looks cool sitting next to my 153 Chevy under the bench. Also got a Warn winch for my Land Cruiser, but have to wait for the bumper to attach it to.
I want to wish all a Happy New Year, and may your Beerarator always be full.
New sunpro 3 pack to replace the harbor freight gauges I had been using.
