I have had no experience with Center Hub Steering, what are the handleing traits (positive/negative) of this steering system on a motorcycle ??

If you are looking for a less flexible front end HCS is probably the way to go, but the linkage can be complicated and must be located properly to eliminate bump steer.... this is some of the stuff Max pointed out to me when I was helping with the liner.
