Hey everyone,

I have been diving into land speed racing for a while now and wanted to reach out to this awesome community for advice. I am looking to maximize my vehicle?s speed on the salt flats but I know there is always more to learn. What are some key practices or modifications you all recommend for achieving higher speeds: ?? I am particularly interested in the following:

Aerodynamics: I know this plays a huge role, but are there any lesser-known tricks for reducing drag that I might be overlooking?

Engine Performance: Any tips on balancing power with reliability? I?d hate to sacrifice one for the other.

Tires and Traction: What?s the best approach for ensuring optimal grip without causing excessive drag on the salt?

Safety Tips: What safety measures do you prioritize when pushing for higher speeds?

Looking forward to hearing your experiences and any advice you can share. I am hoping to get my build dialed in before the next event !!

Thanks in advance for your input !!

I`d never advocate drugs, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...But they work for me.

If he's gonna get it dialed in before the next event, he might want to hustle. It's the day after tomorrow.

The answer to your questions is it depends.... what car are you racing... what rules are you violating... how many fingers do you think I'm holding up  aktion086

Nobody said get a rulebook yet   :deal

1 Rule keep adding weight tell is gets traction, then add more HP, Then add more weight, Then add more HP. tell you out of both.

2, 4 link suspension on a rear drive axel is your friend.
