On Saturday, 5/17/25, I wanted to see what the weather prediction would be for the next day, so I went online
and learned that gusty winds were predicted.  Now I'm wondering whether any land speed racing took place there
on either of those two days.  It's not only rain that can keep folks from racing.

The wind Friday and Sat was the worst and lasted the longest I have ever felt.
So bad and cold could not light a fire and be comfy.

But it was a tail wind Sat for most of the day until a cross wind shut down the course after several runs

They had round three on Suday and shut down about 1. Maybe because of wind or maybe nobody at start line. Not sure busy loading,

Saturday they got through most of round 1 until they had a incident. Then the wind started blowing really bad, easily 30 to 40 MPH. At one time I had to get help to open the door on my truck.

Sunday morning started out good but we left around 11am. but had a pretty good tail wind going by then.
