DLRA announces second annual event!!

After much discussion the DLRA has decided to start hosting a second LSR event in November!!  They haven't christened it yet but the first one will be November 23rd-28th, 2026.  The same excellent volunteers and crew on some of the nicest salt we'll ever get to run on.  For those who have to ship their rides to Oz you can now easily attend two events with only one carnet.  Just ship for the November event, leave everything for the Feb/March event and then pack up for home.
I've been to Lake Gairdner twice in the spring, once in early November and once in late October and the salt was dry and hard both times.  It's generally a little cooler then than it is in February or March which makes it more comfortable in general.
The timing allows you to run Speedweek and World of Speed in the States, then pack up and run November and Speedweek in Australia and get back in time for Speedweek back home.  Try it, you'll like it!!
