Thank you to the USFRA crew for getting everyone an answer quickly. We all appreciate all of the prep work that you do every year. Unfortunately, Mother Nature decided that we weren't racing this year.

I just checked the camera - it's raining.

I was less than 100 miles from my first stop on the journey out... when I got the text from Dennis Sullivan telling me it was rained out... followed by about 10 phone calls from multiple USFRA friends/racers. This was the 50th anniversary for the USFRA and the 40th World of Speed. 
They have already spent a lot of money toward this event and will have merchandise... they need customers to help them through this financial setback...
