I am not asking for a ruling, just thoughts and experiences--

I am helping with Andy's build with his '81 Z28.. It has a grille opening above the bumper line, a false grille area below the bumper line that looks like a grille but is blocked off from the factory, and two lower openings that do not face forward and one can't see unless you get down on your knee and look up.  How does the Air dam & Grille opening rule apply to these? :?

The way the rules look to me, is that you can put an airdam down below the front bumper than can cover any or all features below the bumper as long as it does not go forward of the factory bumper cover or bumper.  The grille above the bumper must remain open.

I  need to do something similiar to our truck.  It has a pseudo grille and other openings below the bumper than I assume I can cover with an airdam.  So far we ran the truck with just factory aerodynamics, no mods at all.  Now I want to lower it and keep the air from going underneath.  A photographer snapped a pict of our truck at high speed and I noticed it lifted a couple inches and folded over (under?) the stock air dam.

I Recieved a definitive answer from SCTA---thanks
