Love the engineer stuff!

Panic, this applies to other job types.  I spent all Friday morning helping the salesman with his presentation to my company.  He is a good sales man (has the silver tongue) but lacking in the total ability to research what I need, solve my problem, overcome issues, not place blame (point finger).  I want his product and tech person on this job.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice.  But in practice, there is.--Jan L. A. Van de Snepscheut

An engineer`s wife sends him to the store with these instructions.."Buy a gallon of milk, If they have fresh eggs, Get a dozen" . 1/2 hour later the engineer returns with 12 gallons of milk. The wife asks why he bought 12 gallons of milk and he answers ....." Because they had fresh eggs".( so very, very true)
I`d never advocate drugs, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...But they work for me.

Makes sense to me. Good boolean logic.

He just followed  his wife's request. Probably a great engineer in his field. :-D

But,...I must admit, I saw a headline that read " Beauty Queen shoots intruder with pink gun" and I thought, If someone broke into my house carrying a pink gun, I`d shoot his ass too

Always anxious to defend my breed!

An engineer, a statistician, and a mathematician are each asked "What is one divided by three?"

The engineer immediately says "1.33"
The statistician thinks for a moment and says "1.3, repetend 3"

The mathematician takes the assignment home and returns the next day with a notebook full of calculations.
"one divided by three" he says, "has an answer and it is unique."

That one just kills me!

As an inspector, I'm going with 0.3333" since the blueprint has 4 digits, and I'm marking it deviant.  You'll find your part in the MRB crib only after an intense search since I forgot to tag it.

Dean Los Angeles

A roadster driver applies for the engineering job.

The interviewer decides to get rid of him with a simple test.

The 1st question is to represent the number 9 without actually writing the number.

The roadster driver draws 3 trees.

The interviewer is confused and asks him how this is the number 9.

The roadster driver points and says '9 is a tree plus a tree plus a tree'

He is then asked to represent the number 99.
The roadster driver smudges his trees and says 'dirty tree plus dirty tree plus dirty tree is 99'.

The interviewer tries to trick the roadster driver, and asks him to represent the number 100.

So the roadster driver draws a poo next to each smudged tree and says 'dirty tree an a turd plus dirty tree an a turd plus dirty tree and a turd!'
Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

Inspectors are ALL deviants!
