Anyone out there running the cool suits/shirts like many of the road race guys where?  If so, how are you running the tubing and how well do the disconnects work during bailout?  I know we are very different in that help is a long ways away and only in the car a short time, but it does seem worth talking about due to temperatures.  Anyone?

As far as I am concerned a cool shirt is mandatory if you can manage the water tank etc. 3 rows back at the line and then a hold is forever it seems! You can be comfortable instead of boiling. A valve or on/off switch for the pump allows controlling flow. The good available shirts have SFI tags so work as nomex underwear as well. I plumb mine off intercooler tank but small ones can be mounted. They are a bit pricey. The quick connects do take some fumbling to get undone but the ones I have (think came from Pegasus supply) are supposed to open with firm pull in an emergency. I use a -20 suit. Have had times 20 minutes at the line with a course hold. Is worth it!

Thanks Jack!  Exactly the information I was looking for.
