Hi Folks,
tried to order arm restraints' through the deist website but the arm restraint webpage is corrupt. tried their contact page but it keep coming up as insecure and wont send, Tried 3 different phone numbers and none complete. Now i am using a UK phone in the US but cant believe thats causing an issue.
Is anyone else having issues contacting/ordering from them or could you supply a known working number.
Many thanks Ian

I bet I'm not the only one who's wondering how the company failed when their stuff was being sold to racers all around the world & appeared to have a pretty good share of the market.

I'm wondering about that, too, Both Diest and DJ Safety turned out good quality stuff.

PorkPie

just a information...

Diest and DJ Safety was the same company...

when the owner of DJ took over the company from Jim Deist...he still run at first the company under the old brand...

after a while the people knew him good enough and he changed the brand name...

to my knowledge he retired and as he didn't found someone to take his place, DJ Safety was history....

the DJ owner told me the story in 2008....and later he told me that it could be that DJ will be gone when he retire...

All is not lost!

Stroud Safety is still around.  Looks like Bob Stroud is not there anymore, but there appears to be a wide selection of products.  We dealt exclusive with Bob for years and he backed up every glitch we might have thought we had along with fun talking to Bob!

He always said that his "competition were nice guys", but he had the good stuff.  And we never had a problem.

Back in February I posted about DJ safety demise.  Until there's a reopening there is a very good reputable dealer who can help everyone.

Joe Timney owner/operator of Delaware Chassis Works/Firefox Fire Suppression Systems is here to help.  Joe manufactures FIREFOX Fire Suppression Systems on site and is happy to provide overnight shipping if needed. In addition, Joe offers other important safety items such as helmets, fire suits, seatbelts and window/door nets.  In addition, Joe is a dealer for Winters Quick Change Rears, Moser & Strange axles & rears, Afco shocks & radiators.

Please consider calling Joe at 772.210.2713 for any of your race car/race bike needs, or if you are just looking for advice, Joe is the guy!!

Working in the shop I use the 'F' word a lot. No not that word these words Focus and Finish go Fast and Flathead Ford!
