Prior owner went 260 MPH at Bonneville in 2008, with an alky-injected SBC. I bought it minus engine/trans for $35,000. I first ran it in F/BFL with my one-off all-aluminum Pontiac DOHC inline four, with M/T hemi head, and slow-turning 14-71 blower. In 2020 it made two licensing passes (to 150 in the mile) at Loring. In 2023 I broke the engine by forgetting to open the fuel shutoff fully. Trying to salvage what's left, it is now using just cylinders #1 and #4 as a twin (H/BFL), with the 14-71 slowed to 19% of crank speed! I've only test run it so far, and am fighting fuel/air distribution problems. I hope to do some testing on a local airstrip soon. It's only slightly possible I could get to the Loring fall meet.

It has full suspension, but I've disabled the rear suspension since there's no driveshaft. I'm using a CrowerGlide full centrifugal clutch, an in/out box, and my home-built inline Q/C box, so no room for a driveshaft.

Reason for selling: I'll be 86 in a few days, and getting in/out with a -15 firesuit gets more difficult for me every year (former owner was much shorter than me). I doubt that I could pass an SCTA-style "exit test", so I don't feel very safe.

$25,000.
