Nice coverage, Burt Munro reference ...... Of Course!!  :-D

Well, the Sir Edmund Hillary references that the poor Kiwis were leaning on all of these years were getting a bit long in the tooth.

Well, that would put me in modified, and if I'm going to go that route, there are a thousand other ways to go about it.

Few as interesting, mind you, but a thousand more practical ways.  Ways that are easier to explain to Mrs. Midget.

Yeah I hear ya mate. I did my apprenticeship in a BMC dealer & we never used the word "stout" around an A engine, or a B for that matter.
A Hayabusa is probably the eng for that class.

Well, I've used the word, "stout" around mine, but that was usually in the form of a question directed at Fordboy on those occasions of running into the house for a beverage.

Apparently it pulled just over 9500 rpm to get the 156 mph in the 3.

Very stable, only a slight waver at the top end, some mixture adjustment going on I think?  :-D

It is a nice set up, thinking about it, it's probably a boost adjuster, he seems to vary setting based on revs? also interesting switch or something at 2.47, the car seems to settle then and pull a tiny bit harder? different map ? All very high tech and beyond me!

Big congrats to the team!
