Folks, I realize the Shoe Tout is still up in the air, or more correctly perhaps under water, however, let's assume all will be cool for a Thursday start.  Assuming that is the case, is the mandatory 5:00pm meeting on Wednesday or on Thursday?  I need to know which happy hour to schedule myself for ya' unnerstan'.

No, there's no word yet on whether or not the Shootout will begin on time - or at all.  Mike is on the salt and will be letting us know what he thinks of the situation.  In the meantime -- hang around and keep your eyes open.  You'll know soon after I do -- unless you hear from him first, in which case -- please let me know, hey?

Were just going to be confident of a dry fast track and leave today

Mike is at the salt this morning reports no water on the international course from the 0 to the 5 1/5 to 6 white salt all the way. From the 6 to floating mountain wet about 1/2 of water.  Yesterday 0 to 6 under water. No water on the Speed Week courses yesterday they were under water.  30% chance Wednsday and Thursday if no significant rain those days the rest of the event looks pretty good weather wise.

looks like "Cook" is on.  Course still too wet to groom.  Maybe by Weds...Thursday [my guess....I am not there]  .....also pray no more rain.

Looks like the big guns will be going and hoping for good conditions.
