We are returning to Bolivia in 2026. The updated website is now online.

The last three events provided us with many hard-earned lessons, and we now have the right professional team in place to make this a well-run event.

We are working with Reg Cook's team. They are having a private event two weeks before us. They will grade a 19 mile track which we will use.  https://cmrchallenges.co.nz/

We have reserved all rooms at the Hotel Tonito from October 19th through October 29th.
https://www.tonitouyuni.com/

Single, double, and triple rooms are available, and we should still have some openings if you are interested in attending.

Rather than coordinating individual room bookings and arrival times, we will charge a flat rate of $650 USD for the entire 10-day stay for all room types. An American-style breakfast is included.

Additional information is available in the Travel section of the website.

FIM entries are limited to five total entries. Currently, three FIM entries are confirmed. FIA entries are not limited.

This is exciting, especially for those who can afford to go and race there.

Good luck to all racers, team members, spectators and others involved in making this event a reality.

I hope the travel, accommodations, preparation, suitable weather, lack of wind, -- and everything else --
all go smoothly for everyone, and that a good number of speed records will be achieved.

The 2026 Bolivia Speed Trials are confirmed. We have the full cooperation of the Bolivian government, and they are permitting the Speed Trials as a national event.

Much more information is available in the updated News section on the opening page of our website:

https://www.boliviaspeedtrials.com/

FIM motorcycle entries are limited to five riders. We currently have four entries, so only one motorcycle entry remains available. FIA entries are unlimited.

We also have room in our container for one open-wheel motorcycle and will transport it from the U.S. to Bolivia and back at no charge. The container is leaving the port of Oakland, CA, by mid-September.

If you are interested in competing or attending the event, please contact me. My contact information is in the Contact section of the website.

The 2026 Bolivia event is progressing nicely. Reg has a 19-mile course graded. He is running way behind, and his event may run over into our event.  Daily video updates from the salt during the event will be available on our website and on YouTube. Brian has released the first episode of his six-part series. A link is below. There are two rooms left at the hotel.

The Kiwis now have race fuel and were planning to run the streamliners today but unexpected high winds kept that from happening.

I've been following...
AccuWeather forecast says that they are going to have some pretty strong winds to deal with this week.
Bummer.  I sure hope they catch a break.
