The Indian powered streamliner will be back at BUB 2011 next year and we should run this time around. These small grass roots effort from farther away just take longer to get corrected.

I really hope the Indian runs next year.  It was so cool to see it last year and I really wanted to see it run.

I have moved it to a secret location in Minnesiota at a CNC machine shop to be closer to parts suppliers. I plan on making it happen, thats all I know for now.

Alex Macfadzean from the UK is having a streamliner built by Rob North. Richard Whittlesea is building a turbine streamliner in the UK, Peter Williams from Two Face Triumph fame has a streamliner, built, but which has done nothing yet. Richard Brown had his rocket streamliner, which is in the British motorcycle museum....

So if it has 2 wheels no matter what powers it, it's considered a motorcycle?
Thanks

I guess it depends on where you run it

There are four on this side of the planet
One of them used to run two cylinders off a merlin engine but now runs a Yamaha 1000 motor

This    http://www.dlra.org.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=1314   is a build diary for one that is well worth a look in Aus. I guess no one has asked him if he read the rulebook regarding three engines

and I did a pre inspection of another twin engine streamliner just outside Melbourne (aus) last weekend

S&S Cycle has an old Bub/Dennis Maning streamliner that Dan Kinsey rode.  I think its fastest 1 way speed was 276.  Not sure what records it set.  It is a single engine nitro harley powered machine.  It was ran in the mid 80's

Al Melling had built a buck in Portugal a few years ago, with a twin cylinder Monos engine in it. He reckoned they had done 240mph on the local beach. Not heard from him since then...

I was surprised to see this in the Indy Hall of Fame earlier this year. Manning, Riley & Rivera liner with Cal Rayborn in the hot seat set 265.492mph record in 1970.
