There was alot of water still on lakebed Sat. Wind has been blowing water toward east end slowly iwill go out and take pictures Tuesday.

Thanks Tiny. Please keep us posted. Some of us need a good heads up as to whether we are loading goodies for a two day event or not.

Friday's forecasted 80 °F day temp will drop to 64 °F by Monday, November 8th. Does any one know how the absorption/evaporation cycle is coming along?

just got down from my observation tower in north Phelan (in my back yard, 9 miles due south of lake), West 1/3 of lakebed (course end) is still under water, rest of lakebed is drying nicely. here is a link to el mirage weather for next 10 days. Looks like it might dry out, I sure hope so!!! :-D :-D :-D :-D

Tiny, if there's still water on the west end, do you think there's much chance of being able to race next weekend? I'm wondering if I need to get my permit for next weekend or wait till next year.  :|
