Fuel in Wendover

[coloradodave]

Can anyone here who might live in Wendover know if there are any gas stations that sell E-85? We are bringing 5 gallons but if for some reason we need more we would rather just pop in and get some there rather than bringing it with us, starting to run out of room and we don't own any flex fuel vehicles.
Thanks Dave

There are several stations in Wendover, The Pilot station is a good bet.

When this website says; "nothing near here", I'll tend to assume that means Wendover, UT, also.

I'll check and see if there is some availability in SLC.

If you are coming via  I-70/Hwy 6, this might work for you.

If I-80, there is a station in Clearfield, UT;  20 mi, approx North of SLC.

Thanks Jim, we will be coming in on I-80, looks like we better bring another 5 gallons

[Texican]

In that case, see if this works for you;  just to save tankering another 40#s over the Rockies.

Thanks for all the info guys, I knew we could count on the people of this forum to help guide us.

[Glen]

You might check with Rick Gold at the ERC fuel truck on the salt. He might have some.

Rick Gold@ ERC.  phone # 1-800-445-1479

Look under links on this site cover page and it has info. ofn fuels and what he will bring

[coloradodave]

Thanks Glen, I called Rick yesterday and left him a voice mail that he has not returned as of today, looks like we are going to just bring some extra and not stress about it.
I can not believe that we leave in two weeks, the year between Speedweek goes so very slow and yet the day arrives in the blink of an eye.

My understanding is that ERC did bring some E-85 in for the General Motors E85 record attempts.

I got an email back from Rick and he said he could blend some up for us but I think we decided to just bring extra of what we are running the motor on now.
Thanks again everybody
