Charles, you guys are killing me. I want in so bad I cannot stand it...but 2012 is just not the year. Business before racing.... this year at least. I have so many things going on that i have to attend to I probably will not make a run in '12. I am an Irish scraper and love a good fight so a throw down challenge is just up my alley. I just have to live vicariously thorugh you this year.

What I really want is for you to bring that cherry Stude out to Bonneville in '13 and get it rusty with the rest of us!

Bill, I do understand your position,,, and 2012 is very possibly the year I can make Bonneville in Sept.

I need to hit a few Milestones first.

1. Win this N/C Gas C Motor Challenge (or at least beat the Time Bomb)
2. Go over 200 at Ohio (with the C N/A gas motor)
3. Go over 200 at Loring (with the E motor)
4. If the E does well at Loring's 1.5 mile... then I will try the Salt in Sept  2012,, if not, I guess I will join you in 2013

Heres one for the haters.  170mph passes.  I had less then $12k in this setup.  WITH NO PUSH TRUCK.  Listen carefully for the 4th gear powershift at the end.  I was not polite to the tko.  This was in '06 when we were just getting into this.  I believe May Meet.  It was way easier back then.  Sorry for the quality but this was 6years ago technology...

This is 2 carbs though but only the 2nd event we ever ran with the truck . 193mph   I would guess with only 1 carb we way lose a few mph but if we go injected and lose the scoop, we hope to crack 200mph. Or we may say screw the challenge, spray it and go for broke.

Can't wait to see the same view from Ohio...

We all "should" be able to go a bit faster with Ohio's smoother surface and hopefully better traction for both accelerating and then braking..

I can't wait,,, are we there yet ??
