I introduce my self for couple of years ago as one of the crazy Sweds, when I started to build and Pre war Land Racing car with an WWII Inverted V12 Aero Engine. There have been many challenges along the way, but I overcomes them all. I  am almost done with the project and the engine is running. Look forward to use the Land racer in next year Ice speed racing.

Thanks! I use an Isotta-Fraschini. 27liter, Twin cam and 750 HP (Super charged) . The engine came from a Caproni Ca 313.

I believe Billqvist is the gentleman featured in HRM, with his "Forgatti"; an aluminum
Bugatti body over a Model A frame. Simply amazing stuff. This car was mentioned
briefly with the promise of a follow-up. I imagined that it would be beautiful, but I
had no idea... Cheers, fantastisk, utmärkt, underbar.

Thanks for the appreciation.

Here is some more information about the roaring Dragon (Name of the car). The chassi is a French Delage D8 1930 and the length of the car is 16.5 foot (5meter), Front axle and transmission is from Ford Truck from early 40´s. Rear axle is a Quickchange to get some top speed due to max 2500 rpm. Wheels are Ford 21"/7".

The body is in Aluminum (own creation). The paint is matt black celloulosa. The jam packed dashboard contains a number of instruments from aviation and prewar cars from 30´s to 40´s. Belive it or not, but all are needed to monitor and run the engine. The engine starts with help of  air pressure and that is a challenge of its own.

Here is a funny youtube clip of the second start of the engine and I guess the roaring Dragon is appropriate name for the car.

Yes! I am also the creator of the Forgatti in the recent issue of HRM, but this car is a completely different story and complexity.

I also attach a picture to give you an idea of the size of the car. My wife is 5.5 foot (167cm) high

Are you sure the ice is thick enough to hold that monster up without cracking?  What a beauty.

I figured it was big but you're right, that is "awesomely big".
The video clip is way funny, I can see why you called it The Roaring Dragon.
Do you plan on driving this new dinosaur on the road??

I've got an idea -- keep it handy at the start line, and when the crown starts getting in too close -- light off the beast/Monster/"Roaring Dragon".  That'd move them back a few hundred feet :-D :-D

The Roaring Dragon will not be road legal due to the V12 Horse Power (or Dragon Power) compare to the 80hp in the original Delage Frame. I will drive some hill climbs, Ice racing (if the ice is thick enough), Hot Rod Drags and some lap on a race circuits perhaps.

I like Seldom Seen Slim´s creative idea!  When it start to be too crowdy around the dragon, then I turn loose the fire flames  :-D
