Lift to Salt from SLC?

Folks,
Due to some airlines being over optimistic on their Europe - SLC charging, the Speed Scotland crew are all flying to LAX now and driving in for early Friday (using all the funds allocated for rentals). Except me of course who had already booked his flight...
So as a result I'm going to land SLC around 4pm on Thursday and would love to grab a lift out to the Salt if anyone else is passing thru around that time and has space?
I'd spend the night in a soul-less airport hotel but knowing the Salt is so close and needing my annual fix would eat me up all night I know!

I will be going through Salt lake earlier in the day but might be able to kill some time shooting pictures in the Salt Lake Area to be around at 4:00 when your flight comes in.

You might be able to grab a last minute room at Knight's Inn.
I talked to the Mgr about 30 minutes ago, and he still had a few vacancies.

Don't want to put anyone out... so was just hoping to grab anyone that was passing thru around 4pm... Larry, it's a kind offer to hang around for me, I'd love to take you up on it but feel bad to cause you a delay in your Salt fix...

It is not a big imposition, if you find no better time match, let me know here prior to 9:00 pm Denver time Wednesday.
I will be on the road shortly after that.

I am not tied to any other car, only my photography which really doesn't get going until Friday at tech inspection.

When I am on the road you should be able to send me a text messages no problem, I won't answer a ringing voice call while driving.

Wise people will not be driving through SLC between 4 & 6pm to avoid having to run the Mormon 500. :x

Rick, I am coming that way on Thursday. Will hit SLC late afternoon. Might be easier than hotrods timeframe. Plus, I need motivation to go. Job loss here and have been on the fence all week! But FWIW, I am packing as we speak!
