Who kind of car is #3522 that used to race at Maxton in G/GC? Jack Illif?
Thanks, Peter

Donna said that #3522 is Jack Iliff. He ran a Firebird.

I think Jack uses either a Fontana or Arias midget engine. Or, a modified Iron Duke GM based engine.

Yes, Mid "80's TransAm style Firebird. Iron Duke based 4 cyl, 122". Best Maxton pass was 153, went 169.7 on the salt. Sold the car to a guy locally who is going to put a V8 in it. Slow process. I currently have a Nissan 240sx with same engine in it and with Udo Horn put it in his Bugeye Sprite G/GMS "Bonneville Bugeye" (see build thread) 178+ at Bonneville. Past three years engine has seemed off from when it was in the 'Bird and I have been chasing my tail trying to figure why. Maybe have. Will see at Wilmington in May if all the ducks fall in a row.
