Glenn, we'll catch up with him - I believe he's scouting out a new place for us to race.

Thanks, everybody.  Last year, my age was twice my best speed.  This year, it's not even half.

I'm genuinely grateful for the friends I've made through this forum.

To my friends in the Bonneville Brotherhood and the Sodium Sisterhood - The Gairdner Gang, the Maxton Mavens, the Winged Wonders of Wilmington, the Texas Tornados, the Loring Landracers, the El Mirage Manglers . . .

Chris,

also all the best wishes to your special day from good ole Germany....

looking for to seeing you and the other Midget in August.....

By the way, your story was a bigger part of my Speedweek 2013 article in the Fast Facts (Speed Record Club magazine)...time that I can add the record, too...

Have a great day with your family and friends

I've a number of friends I grew up with who didn't make it this far.

The river ahead may be filled with flotsam, jetsam, rubble and brine, but I'm a pretty healthy navigator.

For now, I'm content to remain derelict in the backwaters.
