I'm looking for color photos or someone that knows what color the 3 engined streamliner was (#333) that Chet raced in 1958. This car then went on to become a car Ermie Immerso raced in 1959-61. I would've added a b/w picture but couldn't figure out how! Thanks for any help .

This is from the old photo files - not sure what year though: http://www.landracing.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=208&pid=9517#top_display_media

. . . and I only looked at 494 thru 661.

I took 601.  I own 628.

I'll look at the rest later.

Mine is 653. Think that is the first time I have seen it here.

I appreciate the comments but it seem the thread has been hi-jacked! What about the color of the Chet Herbert car? See attached pic.

Woody's post took you right to it, but then again it may have been the wrong year or event.

  WOW!  Studebaker Heaven!  I had never seen pictures of the B&N Automotive Red White and Blue Stude and man, what a windshield!!!
 I would assume it must have been owned and driven by the late Noel Black who later died driving the famous Rhinocerous twin engine streamliner (the one with the bullbus nose caused by a blown Chizler hanging out in front of the front axle!!!
 One of the pit photos show a 64 and 65 El Camino parked side by side so if they all came from the same album, that would probably work out about right.
 I cannot believe that I have used this site for over ten years and never found these photos.
 This is one more reason it is so important to preserve the works Ray the Rat, Pork Pie (who only smells dead), Freud and many others.
 I may give all you a vacation from me cause I plan on going over this treasure with a magnifying glass.  Damn, if I could only read all the lettering on those cars...

  It sure would be neat if Jim Miller or some one else knowledgeable about our History could identify the vehicles, drivers and approximate years all the photos were taken.
  Does anyone know who provided this treasure trove?  I am awestruck....................... :-P :-P :cheers: :cheers:

I went all the way through the pictures and numbers 7 - 16 - and 353 are also mine. I also saw Bob Daltons 7800 car in 1980 before it had skin. and my roadster when it belonged to Al Holaway. I also saw some pictures I took around 1980 at a USFRA tune up meet

These pictures came from all - y'all! {That's plural for y'all! :-D}

FYI: Slim had me harvest those [2010] from separate postings and put them into albums.
