Just another salt shower, it's been going on since before Adam was a cowboy..... apparently!

WoW!

Is that new salt falling from the sky??

Yeah, that fog was incredible - wasn't it? In about an hour the bank of clouds had all blown to the north and it was just as surreal - clear water, no ripples - with a tall bank of clouds that obscured all the mountains. It was like sci-fi. And then - another hour it was clear as a bell. That camera has some amazing views!

From the other camera!

The other camera?
.
How do we access that one?

So one looks basically north, and the other looks basically east?

Dodge Brother · February 20, 2026, 04:30:34 PM

Is it just me or does the salt look better since the brief flooding? Maybe I'm just seeing what I want to see?!

Seldom Seen Slim · February 21, 2026, 07:41:08 AM

Uh, not so good...

aircap · February 22, 2026, 10:00:40 PM

I didn't think it would be solid enough, but I spotted a vehicle on the salt Saturday afternoon.

From the USFRA FB page:

Bo Burkdoll was able to head out over the weekend and snagged some shots at the 2mi and 5mi.

THANKS Bo

That's a pretty sad sight.

It's what I expected but I sure would have liked to be wrong.
