Happy Birthday, Slim and Stainless.

Seldom Seen Slim

Thanks, Don.  I'd post a photo but it'd be difficult to capture the full glory of the St Patrick's Day outfit I'm wearing.  To wit:  shamrock socks, of course, but also low rise black sneakers with transparent shoelaces that connect to a (green) LED flasher mounted on each shoe.

Yes, I dare say - it's majestic.  Too bad youse guys won't see it.  But thanks for the good wishes anyway.

My imagination gives a vivid picture.  There is no need for a photo.  Happy birthday Slim and Stainless.

Okay, then.  I've pretty well recovered from the swell of emotion that washed over me yesterday when so many of you took time to comment on my relentless journey towards middle age.  Thanks very much - from this guy that showed up at Land's End 20 years ago and didn't have a clue what he was beginning.

Yep, I'm sure it was a swell of emotion, although it might have been the cabbage we had with the corned beef last night. :-D

"my relentless journey towards middle age . . ."

Methinks your journey is on the other side of middle age.
