Very well done videos Fran keep um coming

Hello Mr V!  8-)
Will we be meeting up at BMST 2021 this year?
Did you ever get out to the Rambler Ranch after we talked?  It's less than 15 miles from where I'm sitting as I type this.

I'd never forget, sir!  You and Sandy are an inspiration to me!
You remind me to keep on chasing what I love!

I can't wait for BMST 2021, but it also puts the pressure on me to keep moving forward with this build!

I don't know about you, but I have several of these "What the Hell Am I Doing?" moments during a build.  No matter how many times I do something... I always have self-doubt.  Not that I can't accomplish what I want to do, but more like "Do I really want to go through all this again?"

But that's all they are, just moments in time.
I, then, soldier on, buckle down and keep moving FORWARD! :)

Next up:  attaching the frames together, because when I'm THIS close, I wanna RIDE it! LOL!!!

Got her on the ground, rolled her out into the Sun and I'm feeling pretty good about it all.

Sitting and staring at the bike and this photo, I can see where I can steal about 5-6" in length back, which is a big deal for me.  In between the engines, where the steel plate is, I can basically eliminate that and get 3" there.  And then I can move the neck back, to sit above the front engine and that could get me another 2-3" shorter.

It's sitting at 9' long (tip to tail) right now, shorter than The GloWorm already.  But if I could get it to 8'8" or so, then it wouldn't be much longer than my(single-engine) Drag Bike, which I'm perfectly comfortable riding.

Looks like an uncomfortable seat and long reach
Had you considered using the rear headstock for steering and heim joints and shafts to transfer the steering to the front trippletree

OOOOH sir!
Wait for Episode 7!  "Handling The Bars"  LOL!!!

As far as "comfort"?  That's in the butt of the beholder.  I've pretty much been building the same seat out of the same materials for all my bikes.

For BMST2017, I didn't use a trailer, so I rode 5 miles from the Pits to Staging, then Mile 1, and then took my 2 mile run with a 1/2 mile shutdown, then back to either Impound (and then Mile 5) or Mile 1 to make another attempt.  All on a rigid.  My lower bits never complained all week.  8-)

Oh, and this was after about 100 miles of test rides before we ever even left for Bonneville.

Just wanted to remind folks #thisAintTheRaceBike - just an exercise (in futility?) to get this contraption to a point where I can ride it, so I can guesstimate geometries, suspension requirements and ergonomics.  Plus... it's fun to build stuff.

Why work so hard to build something that won't exist in a month or so?  Because, as I said in my very first post, I'm not particularly smart.  I've got to lay hands on stuff to understand how it works.  Probably not the approach most folks take, but for me?

This is The Way.
