Bonneville Accommodation

So we normally stay at the Rainbow for Speedweek and have stayed at the Nugget and Quality Inn once each. I was phoning around this morning looking to see who had rooms available as the Rainbow's cancellation policy, in the event Speedweek is cancelled by the SCTA, is to keep $450.00 of the booking. The only place that I was able to get confirmation of available rooms today was the Bonneville Inn and their rates are half of those quoted by the Rainbow for a 4 night stay.
My question is has anyone stayed at the Bonneville Inn in recent years? The online reviews are mostly older but are pretty bad. Don't get me wrong, we don't need anything fancy, just a place to shower and sleep but I also don't need to come home with a bedbug infestation.
If anyone can provide info, recommendations etc. it would be appreciated. Horror stories welcome

I booked at the Nugget and their reservation said I can cancel up to the day before. I didn't see anything about a penalty but maybe I missed it??

I stayed at the Bonneville last year for the T&T, it was good enough for this country bumpkin!

We stay at the Nugget every year. Always accommodating, even if there is an issue. Which there have been few.

We broke down (actually at my wife's insistence) and booked the Rainbow, same as other years. At least I know I'll have access to decent coffee in the mornings

I have some rooms available at the Nugget. No deposit, Cancellation up July 1, no penalty. After that, 1 night penalty. Early checkout  no penalty with 24 hr notice. PM, Text, or give me a call

I like the Rainbow and the Red Garter.  Both have large parking lots which can accommodate late-night wrenching sessions when needed (like when nothing goes as planned on the salt).
