FM announcing was working today -- Saturday 8/3.

I was on the salt starting about noon today (Saturday 8/3), and forgot to ask anyone (upon arrival) about which FM frequency to tune to.  So I scrolled thru it, and found that 89.3 had the announcer, live.  If y'all tune to that frequency, you should be
able to hear all the real-time stuff directly from the SCTA announcer.  It sounded great to me.

Good luck to all racers, their crews, and the spectators.  And thank you to everyone who made this meet possible.

If you see me in my light-tan 2007 Toyota Tacoma truck -- the one that's missing most of its left front fender, I'll have
free canned sodas (Diet Pepsi) and beer (Michelob Ultra and Budweiser) to give away . . . that is, until I run out of the stuff.
Please, just flag me down or come on over.  I'm gonna try to park beside the timed mile, but will also want to drive around
a bit, looking at race cars that are in line to race.

By the way, the local Girl Scouts are offering a "free" car wash at the Wendover Fire Department for the next few days.
Of course, they do welcome donations.  So I went there in the afternoon and got my truck washed -- and made a
donation to them.
