So, MCACN (muscle car and corvette nationals) is an invite only indoor car show that Bob Ashton runs.  Typically there are up to 800 cars indoors. It is truly a must see. Car are typically only shown 1 time to keep things fresh.  There are some of the best of the best cars, barn finds, ultra rares. Etc.

So, would there be interest to get some land speed cars to put on display at the show?  Some liners would be awesome.  Draw more interest to what everyone does on a stage normally not seen.  It is the weekend before Thanksgiving each year.  Bob is on board, I said I would bring it to the masses and see.  Personally I think it would be spectacular

Let me know what you all think.  2025? 2026?  Who is interested?

Lots of views but no interest or comments?

Sounds like a fun deal HOWEVER, I'm  sure most of the non-megabuck sponsored teams would not be able to put money toward a show with the cost of what we live for -LSR- being sooooo expensive. But I guess there might be some people who are close by that would be able to do it. Again, a good idea, just not very doable for most !

I agree 100% just was looking to see if there was any interest.  Would be something out of the norm and fun to hang out with fellow racers while there.  There are some big name people just hanging out in the crowd.  I had my Demon there a couple years ago for the Mr Norms display.

It is at the Donald E Stephens convention center on the north side of Chicago.

Update....

I have spoken with Mike Wagner from Cornfield Customs and the folks at Rad Rides by Troy.  Both are possibly interested in bringing cars to the show.  I will hopefully have my junk done and can help represent the average guy crowd.

Anyone else think they would be able to bring a car?  I am thinking maybe 2025.

I spend a lot of time sitting on my sponsor.... I'm not sure it would forgo 3/4 liter head repair to take the car to a show...
Sorry, just saying....

Hey I agree most spend all of their budgetted money, and then more just to compete.  Luckily it is close for me, still a large expense.  Literally was just a thought I had, something different for folks to see and learn about.  There may even be familiar automotive industry faces there.  I met many when I had my Demon there.
