Passing Notice

5-19-25  7:18 MST In Tucson, Az  Francis Van De Putte  passed into the hands of his beloved Heavenly Father

I was fortunate enough to have several visits with him late last week.  We discussed primarily two largest passions of his family and NITRO powered want-a-be roadster guy.

He was a true hard headed Dutchman who saw his role when we went to B'ville to talk about whatever  subject that he could get me riled up about that would make me angry.  He knew it was hard to be drowsy when one had adrenaline coursing through your body..

He would also tell me about his early life in Chicago running a DeSoto hemi 300 cu in and how Gene Adams helped them when the made trips out west..They were fast very fast but couldn't quite match him: close oh so very close.

Many will miss that beloved hard head little Dutchman....God Speed Francis!!  here's to you my dearly beloved buddy

they are out of wood...that's the reason why they could swim

and were everywhere around the world....

but some are carved out of the right wood...

my heart is with you for that big lost...tough
