We just found out yesterday that our racer is not running right and have ordered a new injection management system we will be shooting for WOS instead of Speedweek. As we have never been able to get to WOS before (but it has always been on the to do list) I'm wondering if there is racing all four days 5-8th?

I've searched for an actual schedule but can't seem to find anything definitive.

Thanks

Trevor,

the first day of racing is similar to SpeedWeek...the driversmeeting is on the side of the inspection area...normally you can set up your racer before
in the starting line...after the meeting everyone drives to the starting area and the race is on.
if there is no issue with the weather, latest 10 o'clock the NOISE is on.
The USFRA done that, what the SCTA allowed last year, return run same day, for longer time, due to the experience they made with the weather.
The last day of the meet is a half day...with the last return runs around 1 pm....
Again, here the USFRA is very flexible...depends how many competitor are still active...it could be that the return runs starts a little bit later
and keep the track open, longer...
I remember a meet where it was close to 3 pm when it was all over.

The WoS is a meet which is known that you can ask the officials if you got an issue which is outside the standard...if they see a chance they will take care...

I'm sure you and the team will like the WoS...stay safe...go fast

Yes they race all 4 days and with new timing gear and hopefully enough volunteers to manage 3 courses, it should be a great meet

Huge thanks for the responses!
We were a bit bummed on Monday knowing we'd miss Speedweek but really looking forward to getting a chance to run at a USFRA event!

You wont be disappointed, great people, cooler temps, shorter lines and cheaper rooms. We are doing both SW and WOS if i can keep the rods in the car 8-)Cant really afford it but not sure how many more years we have left with the way the salt is disappearing
