Just looking at the upcoming Mecum Auction in Glendale Arizona in March 2026 -- and surprised to see two Vesco streamliners listed (with no reserve on them) -- Turbinator II and Silver Bird!

Don built some cool stuff....
Met him in 1978 when he was campaigning the Lightning Bolt... he said all streamlined bikes are going to crash, just a matter of when and how bad.... shortly after he added the scratches to the paint.  Marcia Holly became the first woman in the 200 MPH Club with one motor disconnected...

I won't but lotto tickets to save the salt flats, but for the chance to own Turbinator II, I'll risk going in a gas station for the first time in a year.
