Sad to say but the weather gods were not on our side this year.  The rains may or may not have flooded the salt, but they closed the access roads for salt inspection and then rained some more the next Friday just to make sure we couldn't race.  The salt is probably flooded but we couldn't get there to see.
Now the good news; DLRA has announced a second event for this year and all coming years in November.  No name for the event but whatever it's called it will be from November 23rd -28th, 2026!!  That's right, two chances to run on beautiful salt!!  I'll start a thread specifically for this new event.

Who is the DLRA contact for info on this?
  Sid.

Probably one of these: https://www.revolutionise.com.au/drylakesracersau/contact.

May need a little patience since they also say:
QuoteThe DLRA will now hold a second, annual, event for Land Speed Racing in November - dates for the first Spring time event are set at November 23rd-28th 2026.
Finer details and specifics will be communicated in due course.

The idea of Spring in November makes my head hurt!
