836...If you can get from Adelanto to the lake bed in 15 minutes and from Victorville in 30 minutes your race car has a much larger fuel tank than mine. Better springs too for the road.....J.D.

The timing is right, what end of the lake bed seems to be misunderstood.
It takes 15  to just go from 1 end to the other unless you are going too fast and get yelled at.

Just get out there a ways and wait for someone hauling a race car and follow it.  If you see a purple pickup with flames and a teardrop trailer behind it going back and forth up and down one of those roads don't follow it.  That would be me as lost as you  ,

Yeah, and if you are coming from the Victorville side, the section of El Mirage road when you first turn on to it might be the worst road in the USA. It's where the amateur road patching crew works.

I thought that the road was where they trained the Minnesota Highway Department for spring patch work. That road is smoother than some stretches of the interstate in the Twin Cities metropolitan area.

Hey Kaz, I certainly hope you find your way to El Mirage this weekend..........but remember one BIG thing..........if your leathers are "Rossi leathers"
they are no legal for racing with SCTA........in fact if Rossi himself showed up this weekend to race his Yam. neither his bike....his helmet, or his leathers would  be legal.
