Received My 2009 ECTA Membership Pack !!

I got my 2009 ECTA Membership Pack in this afternoon's mail and the poster is already up in the shop.
.. and now I'm perusing all the pages in the rulebook for BOLD changes to rules.
If you have not received your kit yet, it should arrive very soon.

     Tube was at the PO this afternoon.  New poster up on the wall by the kitchen table, card in my wallet,  and rule book in the library for study.  Thanks to all responsible.

     Looking forward to the April meet and seeing everyone again.

Actually, I like Al - a LOT.  There's no one on this planet I'd rather have buckle me into a race car.  His passion is a reflection of his caring.  Doesn't mean we can't tease him!!!!

After every race I end up a quarter inch shorter after Al tightens up my belts.     NO ONE can cinch them down like AL.

Al is "the man".. In the rookie briefing, both Keith and Joe scared the crap out of us when introducing Al,,,

Upon my first trip to the staging lanes and getting set in the car,,, I can say with all honesty, I was a bit nervous,, Al came to my door to check my belts, he knew it was my first run and spent time talking to me and running through a checklist with me.. "I thought I had my belts tight"  until Al reached in cinched them down..He knows how to get'em tight...He "is the racers best friend"  he is  not going to let you run if you are not ready and your ride is not ready...

Al and the entire crew do a GREAT JOB,,, see you all in 2 weeks.
