That is from Marlo and it underscores what terrible luck he's had. It ends on a positive note and lets all hope for that result. The event they announced for November might be his time

Sid,
I certainly agree with your thinking regarding getting everything together at B'ville before going to Australia or Bolivia and maybe Marlo needs to take your advice and get the 555 to run fast at B'ville before spending the $ to go to Assie land.

Regarding you "incident" at Speedweek last year, we were one car behind you in line and saw the whole thing and it was certainly "Bad Luck" but I am always impressed by your "keeping your eye on the prize" approach.

You also have to remember that this is a rigid car without suspension. That and the lack of course length with the rough conditions we've seen over the last few years are driving his decision to Go down unda.

My liner is also rigid & the Bonneville Goat Track is not a good place for that right now. Gairdner is the place to be now but the thick air is going to be a bigger obstacle to run a 500 number than up here.
I wish them all the best & hope the vertical chisel nose doesn't become a directional problem like it did on the Herbert Steen liner.
