This is where the forcast from Deans link is taken.

 Here's hoping they're wrong!

The weather station is at:

34.6344,  -117.5489

Unless it's crazy, ambitious and delusional, it's not worth our time!

Cutting and pasting those coordinates into http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl

gets a map and this address: 5466 Colusa Rd El Mirage, CA 92301.  Don't know if that's correct, though.

Yes, that is where the Weather Stn. is located. The forcast point is from another location... On a good note, the rain forcast is dwindleing.

The beauty of the November meet is that it is two days - I suspect those who show will get some passes in, and those who didn't will wish they had gone.

I've got to get out there again . . . Bonneville is cool, but Elmo is the real deal.

Well, I guess we're making a LOT of progress . . .

Just heard they are running. Hoping it stays dry for rest of the meet.

.03 AT 5:26 this morning might be just right for racing.

Maybe someone will report course condition.

Until 2009 I had only attended Bonneville even thought it has now been 126 times.

But when I first walked on the dirt I had a feeling of at last experiencing the real deal.

Chicken skin, a lump in the throat and tears on my cheeks.

I was alone with history and I was humbled.

After all, racers ran on the dirt years before any hot rodder ran at B'ville.

HEROS emerge from the dirt.

God, Bless the DIRT.
