Good story, as usual.  I enjoyed it like I do so many of 'em, Rocky -- because we know just about each and every person/team that you've written about in the column.  Jon and Joe wrenching in the back of their trailer, in the dark, probably outside their room at Motel 6 in Wendover -- that's a classic Amo shot.  And - one more time -- thanks, Jon, for starting up this website.  I'm still having a ball running it

"Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing."   Helen Keller

We are going to explore the racing N words NITROUS & NITRO!

Great story and reminder of my youth. With 5 younger brothers on a hot day ice cubes in pee and you could sucker one of the younger ones for some "lemonaid"

Freud

My comment for the magazine was returned as a BAD ADDRESS and I took it right from the story.
