We, we've had "other than Mexican" food at the Salt Flats Cafe.  The pancakes are very good, for instance.  Steak and shrimp?  Are they on the menu?  You'll recognise the menus as being the originals (not newly-printed, that is) if they've still got fingerprints in salsa left on them from the last few years

Its called jefaso. Peppers, onions, some kind of smokin hot juice, and beans.

The chile verde burrito was delicious last Sunday.  They were pretty busy...but the younger dude (youngest son?)  remembered me.  Hell, anybody who remembers anything impresses me (cuz I can't)...well, except for those things my ex-wife kept bringing up.

I went to the cafe Friday, had some yummy sumthin...not sure, I'm very cautious about mexican food.we tend to not like each other!  Anyway, my reason for typing this is to let you know I went out to Land's End.  The water is still up to the road base, you know where all the gravel starts!  I guess there'd be about 6 inches of water right around the road, couldn't see the salt for all that water, but it has finally started to warm up and it looks like it's going to be a beautiful salty summer!  Are you ready for Speedweek?  I sure am!
