NO. Most of the people in the chat are Alex Taylor fans being PITA. One even said she's the star of the show. I didn't even know who she was until someone told me. I still don't care about her. I wanna see the real salt racers do well.

I find it just sad that this World Famous event is being presented in such a poor manner.

I'm sure that there are people all over the planet right now who are interested in what is happening on the salt.

I can't put all of the blame on the camera guys, I have to believe that they are trying their best.

My woman said that this broadcast is highlighting what appears to be a collective incompetence by the SCTA/BNI leadership.
I regretfully have to agree with her.  Do Better !

As much as I've wanted to run at the Iconic Speedweek in the past, sadly that desire has now passed.
I'm glad that I chose the AMA instead.

I feel the same way Gowing. I jumped from SCTA to BMST many years ago due to the long lines and the feeling that because I was entering a motorcycle I was second class to the cars (almost all of which were much slower than me).

Ok, the video guy said he is doing this on his own dime, using his vacation time. For that I will cut him some slack. He said the heat has already smoked 3 laptops, at his expense. SCTA/BNI are the ones that need to step up and  present some sort of live coverage. Put the FM back on a stream so we can at least listen to Ron.

Nobod, nope seems like you have to really search around to find the actual feed of the day. While kudos have to go out to the guys trying to do this, SSS and Ron have some pretty big shoes to fill. I agree with the comments for the most part and I think after the dust settles, we should mount a campaign to let SCTA that we are not pleased. Maybe they never heard of the first amendment-free speech? As I understand it Jon was axed because he didn't 'FACEBOOK' his website  :x Complete BS. I tried watching the 'feed' and  every time it when silent, I stopped what I was doing to check to see if it was still working. After about 2 days of that, I'll watch videos for some of the past events. SSS are you gonna be at WOS? Hope so! Be safe all!
