Terry the Tourist and I went for a ride up the Leppy Pass road to see the Toyota film crew setting up for a shoot.  Note the air conditioned quarters for the talent, a/c rest rooms for all, food trucks, etc etc.  Sheesh!  I doubt they'll be using the slat for their activities.

We also so some vehicles that I'm sure you'll recognise, and even drove to Nevada.

Rockracer, I am not a Facebook person also, but when you click on the link the standard Facebook Login will come up. Go to the big X in the top right hand corner of the login box and click it. That will get rid of the login box and let you watch Slim's video's.
At least it did for me. I believe you have to use the same procedure to look at the SCTA facebook page also.

Hope this helps you and anyone else like me who is not a registered Facebook person.

Tom, thanks!  Since I DO use FB -- the video automatically works for me, so I needed confirmation that all can see it.  Yes, I could also post stuff using my Photobucket, but that's an extra and kinda time-consuming step that I'll gladly avoid.  I'll still use it to post photos, of course.

I'm gonna go out there now and have a look-see, and deliver some snacks to Mika and his crew at Land's End.  It's amazing how a treat or two, delivered now and then during the week, makes it easier to get on the salt.
