Thanks.  My laptop from last year turned up here today, and it has the right software to stream.  I'll get it later and see what I can do.

In the meantime, I'm back in the room.  The heat kicked my ass today so I came back for a break.  I spent time at the pits trying to see who was here, but that takes forever!  Geez, I saw Ed & Linda Van Scoy's 128 Corvette pit and when I pulled in for a howdy discovered Keith and Tonya Turk were there, too, with the 462 Camaro in the trailer.  Mixed Nuts Racing is here with their D/AIR car, and that was another fun visit.  Big Tim Boyle and his fleet, including the diesel 'liner in the trailer, drove past.  Speed Demon is here, Wayne Jesel is here,  Max Wamsley and his bikes got a visit from me, and that's about it for that trip to the salt.

If you see me cruising past - feel free to wave me in for a visit.  See you on the salt!

It's gonna be hotter than a cheap pistol out there today!  Be careful and stay hydrated and don't be shy about taking a break for some shade and a sit-down.

I'm not doing as well as I'd like, that's for sure.  Today I'm gonna try to get pics of the race vehicles and post 'em.  There weren't all that many out and about yesterday.

Here's something I'll ask - and see what youse guys say:  I could stream the audio SCTA & 1320Live (?) are providing, so you'd have that to hear.  Should I?  Further - I might be able to add my stuff, overriding their audio, if I wanted to add something.

Let's hear your comments, please.

Dang is it hot.  My iPhone doesn't like the temps - keeps telling to to wait, or doesn't take the pic, whatever.  And NO, my A/C doesn't work so I can't just keep the phone by the cold air vent.  I'm back in the room to post some pics from the line to inspection.

Gee-zus kee-rist was it hot out there for this Yooper boy!!  My phone/camera completely quit in the heat, so tomorrow I'll seal it in a baggie and keep it in the cooler 'til I need it.

]I really wish it'd been okay.  I was driving around the pits and came up behind this radical streamliner I'd never seen.  Did I see like 6 chute tubes?  WTF?  As I moved a few feet ahead I realised I was seeing Sid's masterpiece for the first time.  You guys gotta see this beauty.  I'll get pics tomorrow.

The Blowfish is here, and I saw Danny Burrows in the pit so I guess he'll be driving.  Then there's that '56 DeSoto with a diesel motor, running T/O.  Can't imagine it doesn't fit a class.  I didn't see the car, but online the new diesel 'liner/lakester that Steve Watt has built is seriously sumptuous.  Removable wheelpants, no less.    Also:  Chris Mursick's paint design on the ex-444 'liner is tasty.  I'll get a photo for you.

I found these from Gord Dreidger just now, from the Nugget car show.

In the staging lines this morning.  Also the Blowfish, Speed Demon, Nish, and lots more.

Cool Beans!  I saw Lee Sicillio!!  It's been a while, but he's thinking of building another car - maybe a Stude.

Meeting starts in 10 min.  More stuff later.  I'll be out at the 4 or so for runs when it starts.

Jim Hoogerhyde went 304 in the 666 EV, Danny Thompson just did 317 at the 4 and pulled the chutes in the Ferguson 75 car.  Derek McCleish 187 in the #35 SC/S 50 cc.

Notes:  There's one blue line, down the middle of the course.  It goes ONLY to the 5.  The course is good for the first mile, great 2-5, and prepped to the 8.  If you ain't got it whoaed by the 8 - there's a single path that leads to a single 9 mile marker.  Good luck!
