Looks like fun Mike... Nice to see you post about something you  have as opposed to starting every post  with  "Back when I had..."  😂 Carry on. JB
I`d never advocate drugs, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...But they work for me.

If you're planning on a single center mounted vertical stabilizer fin, the exhaust in that location is going to prevent it from getting clean air making it ineffective when you have your foot shoved down it's throat. Now that you have that much work into it, about the only option you have is twin tails to get out in cleaner air.

Back when I had money I never had a long car!!!!.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Sid, F18 coming up. Mate, I hung those pie cuts where I had space.
This thing morphs day by day. I'll figure something out. I'm learning here big time.
Tom did mention that the exhaust gasses would create problems but I never thought I'd go fast enough for it to be an issue.
Now that you brought that up I must be doing something right.😂😂

I'm setting up the "office". Got the seat in the tub and I fit good. Better than even in the F2 days. It brought back so many memories.
Got a piece of flat Aluminium double sided taped to the back of the tub so I can measure head room but no one to mark the helmet height.
I'll have to wait for mommy to get home from graft to help.

All good on the Southern front and progress is good.

Mine is an F-14 but for a different reason. 8-)
Taking a second look at you pics it looks like your turbo's are mirror image. Can you switch sides on the turbine housings or just roll them outwards?
  Sid.

Dang!!  You actually have that  as opposed  to something  you used to have ??  I am impressd!!  J B .

I'll make a plan. I can move them further apart. I hung them to check how good the clamps were. My flanges for the pipes were square so I had to grind them to mirror the turbo flanges.
The El Cheapo drill press does some amazing work. I drilled a thick piece of ABS and bonded the flanges with some 3M double sided tape after using marking blue. Went at them with the belt sander and fan grinder.

Jerry, if I had a big picture view of this I would have quit by now.
This is like being on the hell course in the army. If you thought about the next hour coming up you would have quit.
If I hadn't been a battler from a young age we wouldn't be here. Those tough times prepare you for a project like this.
It's the most awesome journey.

Hey Sid?.
Does this work for you?. 😂😂😂😂
I just put the left shoe on the right foot.
Not outside the frame rails and actually way better.

You're a true brother. God Bless you. Thank you for always steering me in the right direction.🙏🏻✝

All of you guys are awesome. You tell it like it is and I listen. This community rocks.👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

A decorative molding profile, a vertical strip used to seal gaps between doors or windows.
I had to Google this one. You got me. Please expand?. Are you checking my artitecture?.😂😂😂😂😂

The bottom seal is one also.....Had to replace a couple of them and that was how the package was labeled.

They don't make the heavy doors here anymore. I'll get some rubber hose and screw it on.
The doors these days come in flat pack and are made from chopped strand glass.

My power or my height beat me today. My tig machine and bottle are on a mobile table from the custom bike days
and I had to get the full bottle of Argon up on its footing. I can only lift the thing about 6". I need 10 so I cut the base and dropped it by about 8".
See!!!!!. I sold all the offcuts to scap. This happens every time. I needed a few pieces of tubing to build a hook I could use the block and tackle on to lift the bottle.
The last time I gave the bin diver all the scrap on a Friday and on Monday I needed a short piece of 2" x 4" tubing. I had to buy. Can't win.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I think I've been in and out of the tub doing a solo seat fitting more than I will actually driving the beast. It's actually a Jack Russell but I'm diminutive so everything looks bigger.😂

This is that seat with the wraparound rib area I made using Carbon and a honeycomb core. Side protection in this application doesn't work.
The photos show the part still wet and with peel ply applied.

If I lived closer to you guys I'd have a free composites course running all year. I watch a lot of YouTube and for the most part I see wasted materials and way too much work.
Guys using aerosol cans of PU foam for huge areas and also getting sticky fingers. It doesn't have to be that way.

I had to cut quite a bit away but it fits and so do I.
