Engine cover out of the mould.
One knock with a wedge and nylon mallet.

Mocked up and looking good.

Dang Mike....Your work is nice, I cannot find anything to comment on....Taking all the fun out of it. J.B.
I`d never advocate drugs, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...But they work for me.

I'm just tired brother.
Exhausted. On autopilot right now.
Set a deadline at 18h00 on 24/12/2025 to have the body built.
It needs to go to paint late in January.

Thanks man. God Bless you and Patti.✝✝🙏🏻👊🏻👍🏻

One body panel every 2 days now.
Could be quicker but this resin takes 48 hours to cure (final post cure).

tauruck

More panels coming out of the mould.
Tail section top sides mocked up.
They fit the back panel so well you can't see light through there.
Got to trim the sharp radii and bridge them with something I have in mind.

Just the waiting gets old but it's progress.

tauruck

A few more.

Looking good Mike. Keep up the good work.

Tom G.
I love the USA. How much longer will we be a free nation?

Asking questions is one's only way of getting answers.

The rational person lets verified facts form or modify his opinion.  The ideologue ignores verified facts which don't fit his preconceived opinions.

Thanks Tom.
God Bless you.

I've got the longer panel in the mould.
5 to go.

tauruck

Tail piece sides.

Mocked up and waiting for the top triangle to cure.
I'll Cleco and bond them together before stiffening with honeycomb.

tauruck

Nose work.
No female mould.
Glass, Carbon and lots more glass. Epoxy based. Much easier sanding when cured.

It will get sanded and filled for paint but I have a part on the mould.
Sorry about the photo quality.

3 more panels to go and I can start assembling the whole body.

Test fitting panels on this jigsaw.

I need another pair of hands so in the meantime I'll just keep making panels.

If you could weld this stuff I'd be smiling. Cut and paste coming up.

I've been following this thread for a long time, and am constantly impressed
by the dedication, effort, skills, and other abilities that tauruck/Mike has applied to his land speed vehicle . . . starting more than 12 years ago.  I wish him all the best luck possible with all of it, as well as health, happiness, and a good racing surface to drive on when he eventually gets there.

After reading 200+ pages of postings, I'm a little forgetful regarding what kind
of engine will power this vehicle.  If someone could refresh my memory, it would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Meanwhile, best wishes for a safe, enjoyable, and comfortable holiday season for
all of us.

Thank you brother.
I really appreciate this. It means more than you know. God Bless you.🙏🏻✝

I'm a straight shooter. When I started this project I had a few South African bucks but the day I got the first pile of tubing I hit a drought.
How I've reached the point where I am is one thing only. A miracle. Divine Intervention. Pure and simple.

I needed this. I needed to go through the ringer and sure I whined like a spoilt kid for a long time but every second has been worth it.
I'm still getting the "warfare" but it's like water off a duck's back now. I don't give a penny!!!!. I live hour by hour.

Divine intervention off the charts and you guys are responsible for everything. So much help. Motivation, inspiration and material support.
Friends I've never met or even spoken to over the phone. You back me. Money can't buy this brotherhood. God Bless every single one of you.✝🙏🏻

You asked about my motor?. Ford Cleveland. Run what ya brung motor!!!. :-D :-D :-D :-D
I think I'm giving it the best chance it has. It's one of those oddball engines and I know George Poteet said don't run what you love, run what will get you a record but I have to run what I have because it's all I own.

Check this out. I couldn't get a Gilmer belt pulley the right size for my water pump anywhere in Africa so I made a mould, threw in a smaller pulley that I gouged out so that it wouldn't slide off and filled the cavity with Carbon and some high performance Epoxy. I cured it under pressure and Craig at Turnstar machined it. I'll get it tonight and we'll see how it fits.

Panels are coming out of the moulds thick and fast now.
Storage is a problem so they go on the liner.

Got a bunch to join and build in the sandwich material.

Getting there.
