Got in and all the way to the last step and got a pop-up message that they were having problems with credit card processing. Message said to phone the reservation number. I actually got through. What's with that. They said the only way was on-line.

This must be a Government run operation!!!!

The gal I just spoke to said the internet is down and it could be awhile before they are back up..........They have big problems!

Just spoke to a genius at the Rainbow/Peppermill/Montego reservations office and she said the repaired system will now be re-opened for speedweek reservations at noon (MST) tomorrow. Believe that if you choose. I don't necessarily believe it but that's what was said !!!

Genius? I must have talked to someone else but the info is the same-12:00 MST, February 24. I'm going to get lunch and a splint for my mouse finger now.

Glad I took second best and got my reservations at the Nugget in December. Not as nice as the Montego Bay, but as good as the Peppermill and Rainbow. Cheaper and no 3 day minimum non refundable deposit.

Same here. Got a jaccuzzi suite at the nugget a few months back but thought I could save $$ with a king at MB. Got on this morning and saw the price , my nugget room is cheaper.

After consulting with my team we decided to take rooms at the SLC airport La Qinta, $87 a day no minimum, no front money, cancel with no penalty up to 6 PM day before scheduled arrival. We will make the 1 1/2 hour drive for a few days and see how the room situation works out in bendover. Wells was sold out.

I to tried today with the same results as you guys. The price makes me want to buy a big tent.  I called the gal to make sure I hadn't booked rooms[I didn't want any supries on my credit card] She told me I had booked 4 rooms but canceled them. For this kind of money they should be begging us for business. I HATE THIS ROOM GAME.  But what do you do?

The Millers should have comp rooms for using their Stude on their booking page. HAHA

I got confirmations for 2 rooms from Sunday thru Thursday. Seems as if the first weekend (Fri 8/13, Sat 8/14) rooms were gone almost instantly - like by 12 minutes past noon MST!. Makes one wonder how many of those were actually available in the first place. Now have to cook up a plan for 1 room somewhere for Fri & Sat - maybe commuting from SLC area for 2 days isn't so bad!

Jack, if you have to commute it's not to bad from Tooele. We will be staying there Sat. on the way in. We wont get to Speedweek 'til Sunday.

8 rooms? That's a big hit on the Credit Card. Money was in the Casino's bank by 12:01.

Took about 5 minutes and 15 tries after the site came up, but got the room we needed at the M/B.

Looking at options yesterday afternoon I checked for Las Vegas RV Rentals. About the same price as the Hotel.

For 8 rooms I would of needed a co-signer for the loan.
