According to the TV listings I found for it, the show is called "Speed Capital of the World: Bonneville".

Here in Phoenix at least, it airs on Discovery HD at 8 pm and on Discovery at 11 pm, and is repeated on Discovery HD at midnight and on Discovery at 3 am.

I think that Discovery did a good job, a little heavy on the commercial interuptions, but hey they have bills too. Good highlights of the blowfish, the Buckeyes, and Ms. Porterfield. Well done.

Walter

I thought they did a great job.  Thanks to all who put the show together.

Show was very well done, showed lots of cars and bikes....   a few mistakes, but it is TV and they require a little drama...  :| I guess they didn't have the recorder on when the streamliner rolled at chute pop..

What part of the show gave you the idea that the "special meet" was included?

Good program, seemed to be good camera work.

Was that "our" Glen on the Mic ? -- Cool (except for the rider down aspect, rather hear him say "record run, record run" than rider down..)

Made me mad that my vacation and funds dried up and I could not be there this year.

Also gave me more desire to do whatever it take to be there 2009...Hope the Stude gets done in time,, slow going right now,, but I have high hopes for August 2009.

Nice coverage. The Blowfish guys need to know a stock body doorslammer without a chopped top has been, I believe, 330 a few years back. Fun to watch................JD

I wonder if they know how much more HP they will add to reach 300 or 310?  Spending 1/2 million I would expect to go that fast too.  Great coverage though, got to see a bunch of cars and Fast Fred walking around in his suit. :-o  I'm glad I recorded it.  I'm a bit surprized that there wasn't much coverage on the Speed Demon.   Can't wait to see the next one.

Dan, I don't think he said that he got that from the show. Wayno

Great coverage!  I was expecting the Blowfish - Speed Demon show, but this was very cool.  Hope it is just the first in a series of many shows.  And they made Leslie look even hotter than she looks in person!
