You're hilarious. You might be right too!!!!.
Keithie and Kevie were two operators of note. Perfect manicured lawn and rose bushes.
Mike up the road, same deal. I don't even think he likes himself?.🤣
Weird people.

That floor planking wasn't as good as I had hoped. Getting it flat was like polishing a sheep.
I had some offcut Lexan sheets that levelled the playing field.
The box mould has a vacuum tape lip all around and one long side bolts into place. I've got to put in some Silicone fillets along the long sides
with release agent on one so its removable.

No blueprints on the chassis because I went Sid's route and it works.
Fully thing, the floor to the outside lips needs to be 820mm. The box was built to that width.
The side body panels need to be 410mm tall so after I've made all the floor panels the same mould will produce 2 honeycomb sandwich panel per pull.
After the 10 panels are made the box doubles as a jig to hold the top curved panels also made in the same mould. Those will also be sandwich honeycomb pieces but shaped using the cut and fold technique where "V" cuts are made at strategic points along the length.

When the box is used up it becomes an oven for blow moulding the Lexan canopies. I have to make two from one sheet because you can't blow mould a rectangle effectively but an obtuse oval will work.

The diff got a good clean today.
Spanjaard make the best degreaser on the planet.
You can take a white kitchen towel and wipe this thing and it will come out the way it went in.

I used a litre of thinner in the spray gun to kill any water that might have been around after I dried it.
She's getting a coat of high temp Sparkle Silver later.

We're on a roll. I have 15 components at Turnstar being powder coated satin black as we speak. Where do you find a sponsor with CNC everything, plasma cutters, powder coating plant and decal department???. These guys are unreal. I asked for a 7' sheet of Stainless Steel and they just said how thick and wide?. I'm blessed.

That's a quote I came up with when this young guy wanted to know how to get cured Kevlar parts trimmed. You can't. It's been tried.

The rear end has MS primer on it. Typically guys would just blow colour and be done. Not here!!!!.
I can't do that. If you don't have the fastest hot rod you better have the best looking one.
Riddler rear end coming.😂😂😂

Mike, you have a good basis for protection from salt corrosion.

You'd be right if I ever made it that far Neil.

I was going to use standard 2K but Pete said high heat.
Corrosion is a pet peeve of mine. I'd go nuts running on salt.
When I was doing wrought iron on the coast I had 100 lengths under a tarp and the locals decided they needed a blanket!!!!.
By morning the metal was orange. :-D

My deal with Spies Hecker coatings is a good one.

If some bloke with a motorcycle from NZ can do it, you can too, Mike!  :-D

He is an inspiration for sure.
We have two things in common. Both from the deep Southern Hemisphere and that old Lemon Tree!!!. Mine blooms all year round and watered exactly like Anthony Hopkins did.
Here's the kicker. His niece Robyn Munro said they put the Lemon Tree in the movie for a kick. So if all goes to plan I'll be the first guy from the South to really water a tree and get
a record even if I'm a small fish in a bowl. :-D :-D :-D. Africa isn't known for this type of racing.

The last record was broken by an American car with a South African driver on an AFB runway. 228 and I've never seen another car like it on the Salt. It looked like a Can Am car.
After Dunlop took the car on the national tour it went back Stateside and Grant faded into obscurity.
He's an all time good guy and used to visit me often. We/he had this idea to put double wheel axles in the Toyota Minivan taxis to stop them falling over and I was supposed to do the fender flares.
I guess the manufacturer may have blocked the idea because sales would have dropped.

8.42AM.
A couple of days ago these parts went to Turnstar.
I can't keep up with the sponsor. That's rare!.
I'm Blessed.🙏🏻✝

Jerry. I fell in!!!!.🤣🤣🤣🤣
These guys are just up the road a way. I asked if they could cut splines and they couldn't but were willing to do all I needed.
They put me onto the #1 gear cutter in SA because they use him for complicated work. He's also in because he rates Turnstar as a valued client and says they are all good guys.
All the years of getting the runaround are over brother. Their facility is huge and if anyone says the economy here is up the creek Turnstar is not part of it. They have CNC everything and the place is pumping. Just great people.

Hilarious I am hey?.
That tree wouldn't give fruit until it got some good old acid.

Rear end has silver base coat. Not my best work with all the little nooks and crannies but it looks OK for a yard job.
Going back for clear coat.
